Decade Reflection

To mark my ten years of relocation to Karachi (15th July 2013 to 15th July 2023) after fifteen years in Houston, I created #DecadeReflection as a series comprising several reflective essays.

A carpe diem moment: Reflective essay dedicated to the Aga Khan University. Excerpt of this was originally published by the AKU Blog.

Decade of growth: Reflective essay dedicated to Baylor College of Medicine. Inspired by an interview originally published by the BCM newsletter.

The sequence below (articles 1 to 7) progresses from reflecting on firsthand experiences and growth to delving into different philosophies and teachings, leading to a contemplation of existential meaning. Each article builds upon the previous ones, offering a diverse range of perspectives and insights. From unveiling the tapestry of my decade-long journey to embracing transformation through walking the talk is meant to be organic and evolutionary. In that pursuit of mine, you, my dear reader, decide how successful I have been. Feel free to leave your comments, good or bad, and I shall remain ever grateful.
